There is an old saying that goes something like this: If it was easy, everybody would be out doing it. Establishing the foundations of starting a new business venture is very difficult and does not happen overnight. It normally takes many years to establish a great reputation. That being said, you can actually ruin it overnight. People being the way they are much more likely to get on a social media platform such as Facebook and right a negative review then they are when they have a positive experience. Social media has made it very easy for folks to voice their opinion. Quite often it’s not even a fair assessment. Sometimes it can be written by a disgruntled competitor or even a friend of his. This actually happened to us one time where one of my competitors went on our website and wrote us a bad review. He did it in a way where I could not actually confront him because he didn’t use his actual name. I did however have my suspicions of where it came from.

We have been trying to build a name for ourselves when marketing towards Indianapolis T-shirt printing clientele. We also do a lot of other things such as custom embroidery and digital T-shirt printing. We get the overwhelming amount of our new customers by people getting on their laptop or phone and calling up a major search engine. They type in a relevant search term such as Indianapolis screen printing and either fill out the free quote request or they actually give us a call. Unlike a lot of other custom T-shirt printing companies, we try to always answer our telephone. We believe that there are great advantages to audible communication and not just shooting e-mails back and forth. E-mails certainly do have their place when it comes to keeping a record of what was agreed upon, but there’s no substitute for speaking to each other. The more we know about you as well as the challenges that you are trying to overcome such as a limited budget or a job that requires a very quick turnaround because of the time sensitivity involved, the better chance we have of coming up with the correct solutions in order to overcome these obstacles.

The second way we do the bulk of our overall workload is from repeat customers. The same person who needs short sleeve apparel at the beginning of summer is probably going to be calling us for five months down the line when the season starts to change and get colder. It’s very easy to deal with the repeat customer compared to someone who we never have done business with before. The confidence level in us to get this product out on time has already been established. We also are familiar with who we are dealing with. Some customers are more demanding than others and we know from our initial experience the kind of personality with which we are dealing.
